Give. Me. A. Break.
Legitimate arguments against Obama are one thing (screaming Ayers! Wright! aren't)* but couldn't you guys at least be consistent? (I can hear your response now--"but--but--but--you liberals hate George W. Bush!" We criticize him for policy failures. You guys insist on criticizing Obama for stupid things like having a sense of pageantry-- things YOUR PARTY ALREADY DID. You didn't hear us screaming about columns in 2004. Torturing innocent people at Abu Ghraib, sure (did you know that, according to the International Red Cross, somewhere around 90% of the people at Abu Ghraib were innocent? That was kind of the real scandal. But thanks for abandoning the U.S.'s moral standards.
*Speaking of that, I'm thinking of shouting "Manucher Ghorbanifar! Manucher Ghorbanifar! Reagan made deals with Iranian arms dealer! Reagan made deals with Iranian arms dealer!" any time a Republican tries to talk about Reagan's legacy. I'll ignore the possible policy things he did and just scream "Manichur Ghorbanifar! IRANIAN ARMS DEALER!" Jesus. The only reason we've got any civil discourse left in this country is because not everyone in the Democratic party is willing to fight you guys using your methods.
And somehow, I sort of wish we were.

For those who don't use the youtube, that's a whole lot of Republicans, including John McCain, and Mitt Romney, cheering and applauding, after a conservative singing group sang "Why Should God Bless America? She's forgotten he exists." Basically making the case that America deserves to be screwed over by God.
